Emmanuel is an investigative journalist based in Kenya who mixes research methodologies, from analysing very large datasets to reporting from conflict zones. His stories usually involve multidisciplinary teams of journalists. They’ve sparked police investigations in three countries and won awards including a Peabody, an European Press Prize and a Sigma. He also runs the Dictator Alert project that tracks the aircrafts of authoritarian governments around the world.
